Back to Johnny for a moment. He is the VOICE of WABC... yet he is also the VOICE of RUSH.. and there are many announcements that include cutesy barbed comments. If I was a sponsor I sure would not want to have JD reading my copy under those circumstances.
In the old days of course this was never an issue as there were few such polarized programs. But now? I just think Johnny runs some risks. And I like the man regardless of his politics.
Likewise Hannity. I think politically he is a Neanderthal.. but every time I have ever dealt with him he has been a true gentleman and a very kind, decent man. I kind of feel sorry that he isn't more thoughtful in his presentation.
