Yes, perhaps WNYZ is just stunting for a while till the new station leasing the signal gets set up. The fact that the last song on Pulse was Back in the U.S.S.R. seems to be a strong hint that it is going back to a Russian pop format, unless the dj's were just having fun with the rumors. As I recall, the Russians played lots of dance music when they were on the frequency a couple of years ago.
