Pulse 87 has been using this top of hour ID pretty much since they signed on in February 2008.
The female announcer says (paraphrasing): "From the top of that big, blue building in Queens, this is Pulse 87 WNYZ New York. New York's New Dance Leader."
The big blue building in Queens is the Citicorp Building, which is where the transmitter is located for WNYZ-LP-87.75 on the FM dial.
On the radiotime.com "Listen" stream, for the time being Pulse 87's dance music format continues to run with its original imaging, but with no DJ's & no commercials.
On-air, the station is running a different dance music format with no imaging (cold segues) & no commercials with just a male voice that comes on once an hour with a brief top of hour ID (paraphrasing): "This is WNYZ New York". This has been airing at 10 minutes past each hour since the on-air version of the station restarted at 5:10pm after 10 minutes of dead air.
This indicates that they're probably running an automated/pre-packaged format as filler both on-air & online until the "new" format takes over, speculated to be Russian contemporary music/brokered programming.
