Happened to tune into WBAI several times overnight in the past week. Much to my surprise, they were fundraising by running apparently syndicated (Pacifica?) paranoid alt-health programming
You know, Gary Null-ish "the medical establishment is out to get us"-type stuff. Not inherently surprising, as Null had been a successful fundraiser for the station, but this programming went on for *hours*. And what I heard was actually a bit more boring and out-there than even Null's musings.
Anyone know what's behind this, and whether it's actually succeeding?
