Well, in Pittsburgh where Rush was pulled from KDKA and placed on a Clear Channel FM, KDKA is still ahead. And in New Orleans, WWL is still ahead of the Clear Channel FM with Rush. Those are all-day ratings. I don't have daypart breakdowns.
So it's not a slam dunk for the station that carries Rush. KGO San Francisco has always beaten Rush with local host Ronn Owen. WSB Atlanta always beats Rush with Neil Boortz, who is syndicated but based at WSB.
If you lose Rush, all hope is not lost. But those Clear Channel competitors in Pittsburgh and New Orleans aren't that far from the market powerhouses.
