Agree totally with your assessment of FM Talk. My child is now 17, and with all the time she listens to the radio, mostly traveling in the car, she scans the stations till she hears a song she likes. That's the way FM works for the younger demos.
I truly hope that they do move all the current syndicated shows to FM. That, and only that, will give AM it's chance to go live and local again, and perhaps succeed. Giving new talent a chance to thrive and get a fan base in their own communities. I know even that is a long shot, but I can dream can't I?
