Naturally programming is a matter of opinion.
I preferred the depth of music variety and huge playlists offered by XM as a standalone company. But the large selection of genres, including many not offered in various markets, combined with lots of excellent personalities (lacking on most online music services), and no commercials could still seem quite appealing to many music fans. And many of the music channels seem to be adding a lot of songs, perhaps in a bid to please the XM aficionados.
Sirius XM has announced that they will soon embark on an extensive marketing campaign for this holiday season. That is overdue. They need to remind people of the huge selection of music, talk, news and sports programming that is offered at a price that is still rather reasonable.
