Homerism is accepted in the broadcasting business now. Lets not forget that Bob Prince, Ernie Harwell, Harey Carey, Haray Kalas and Phil Rizzuto has homerism slips too. Granted nothing like what you hear today.

Conversely, McCarver and Buck clearly have issues with the Yanks. I am not sure if it was because the Yanks were there 96-2003, but they get their subtle digs in all the time.

If you like the team, you like the broadcaster. If you don't, you don't.

I happen to love Jon Miller. I even laughed hard on his call in 2001 in Game #5 (The Brosius game). "The Yanks win again". As if to say.."The Friggin Yankees win again"... It was good stuff.

I think there is more homerism in Football.
