Perfect examples of announcers fitting the times and the towns where they broadcast. Vin Scully may have begun in NY with the Brooklyn Dodgers, but his style is so perfect for Southern California today, it's hard to imagine anyone else calling the Dodgers--he's as much a part of LA as sunshine and palm trees. Harry Caray was as boisterous as Chicago.

And JOhn Sterling and Suzyn Waldman? He's the most theatrical announcer on the air, and she's a genuine veteran of the Broadway stage. Hard to imagine anyone more New York than they are--they're entertaining to listen to.
