We all knew the end was near. So did Bill. Yet he faced his fate with the same dignity and class he brought to his work and to his friendships. He prefered to talk about the radio adventures we shared rather than dwell on his illness. Bill was a superb engineer gifted with a sense of production few others can claim. He brought to each project no matter how mundane or routine the desire to do it right and do it well. He inspired those of us who relied on his talents to use our own to the max. Bill was a true friend whose loyalty never faded though our work and lives took us in different directions over the years. Rest well, Bill. I'll miss you! WB2DTY SK de K2NX
