I, like many of the others who learned our craft at WCWP owe a debt of gratitude to Bill Epperhart, for if there was one thing that we learned from Bill was "If you're gonna do it, do it right!" He was a mentor, an electronics wizard, a great guy and a wonderful engineer and a friend.
He always would watch us make our mistakes, and then show us how to really do it. Lessons that were well learned, if not based only by the names of all of the broadcasters that he touched, taught and befriended. He knew his stuff!
Being 1,000 miles from New York makes it impossible to be there to pay tribute to Bill, with all of the WCWP family, but my prayers and those of my wife and children are for Bill's family and that he is at peace.
I'll just bet that he's running the board for Murray The K's "Heavenly Soiree".
God Bless You Bill, you will be missed.
