I'd just like to add and sort of - use this ocassion to say that what I learned at WCWP and from the people I worked with - at WCWP - was the most valuable reference tool I have had in coping with the ups and downs of my career in broadcasting. The foundation that I received from Bill Mozer and a series of brief encounters with people like Bill Epperhart and other alumni that were all super and passed stuff that they learned - on to me - has been priceless to me. It's funny because so many people who helped me, in a brief moment, probably don't even remember the incidents. Candy, who helped train me to do the news and worked with me every Tuesday night at 6pm for awhile, Scott Simensky who spent hours going over airchecks with me and sharing radio knowledge that was passed on to him from other alumni. I remember driving Scott home one weekend afternoon to Longbeach and he brought along an old American Airchexx Magazine cassette with Mark Driscoll and the Howard Hoffman "9" tapes which we listened to, in the car. Jeff Wright who helped me piece together my first music weekend demo aircheck that got me on the air, and, gee, I didn't realize this. I better stop now because I'll forget somebody. Thanks, everybody!
I remember you all with a smile! And Bill, I won't forget you! Thanks to ya, up there, for getting me to remember and smile again about those days.
