I met Bill in the late 60's as a fellow ham operator and was his friend for 33 years. Although there were gaps of years here and there, I feel as though I grew up with him having shared so many different experiences with him. We even got to work together in the computer field for a couple of years in the mid 90's. About a week or so ago, I got to spend an hour on the phone with him. We talked about the old Ham days and he told me of the new rig he bought over last summer. I have probably spent thousands of hours chatting with Bill and always loved every minute of that time. I feel as though a piece of me has left this place with Bill. So Bill, wherever you are, 73's from your old friend.
