SPECIAL NOTES:  The tie at #2 marks the first tie in WABC's post-
1960 chart history, not including two-sided hits.  (Before the 
middle of 1960, WABC's chart information was obtained from Cash 
Box magazine.)  There would be only one other tie on WABC's chart, 
at a lower position, some 17 years later.

Early playlists indicate the Beatles' "Roll Over Beethoven" on the 
British label, Parlophone, later amended to the Capitol of Canada 
label.

The songs at positions 29 and 30 were on the printed survey but 
were not played on the air this week.

the Beatles!"
