All American of the Week:
Herb Oscar Anderson - 6:00-10:00 AM Monday - Saturday

SPECIAL NOTES: No play on #22 or "Long Lonely Nights" by Bobby
Vinton (unnumbered, between #29 and #39) this week.

Next week's super special guests on Cousin Brucie's "Go Go!"
television show: Adam Faith, Gary (U.S.) Bonds, Joey Heatherton,
Troy Donahue, and the Crystals!

"What You're Doing" by the Beatles (which would eventually be
included on the "Beatles VI" album) was being played on other
radio stations in New York and around the country. Curiously,
although WABC was fast to play new Beatle songs to this point,
they would not add this cut until "Beatles VI" was officially
released to U.S. radio stations on 25 May 1965. Speculation was
that WABC was not playing the import cut (from "Beatles for Sale")
due to negative feedback from the record companies, and a possible
threat of a lawsuit from Capitol Records.
