SPECIAL NOTES: "Baby Come Back" by Player was added to the
permanent (gold) library this week, and was not played as part of
the current rotation, even though it was #16 on the playlist.
The #16 is obtained from next week's printed list, as the song
  re-enters the top 14.

"Short People" by Randy Newman is not added to the permanent (gold)
library, even though it qualifies after 11 weeks on the survey.
It is never aired on WABC again, as it is also omitted from the
  year-end Top 77 of 1978. Many people didn't get Newman's
tongue-in-cheek humor, as the song is actually making fun of people
  who are short-tempered and small-minded.

"How Deep Is Your Love" by the Bee Gees jumps back into the top 14
this week. Unfortunately, unlike "Baby Come Back", the LW position
on the printed list has "--" so we don't know what number it was
last week, when it was played and listed as new gold.
