SPECIAL NOTE: For the second time (third week) in its Top 40
history, there is no #1 on WABC's chart! Most WABC survey
aficionados contend that this week's #1 would probably have been
"Centerfold" by the J. Geils Band, on the EMI America label, a
song never played by WABC, as it had softened its format to a more
Adult Contemporary sound by early 1982.
