WMCA Weekly Music Surveys

WMCA kept weekly surveys of the best selling records in New York City throughout its years as a Top 40 Music station. These surveys were based on the record sales of local record stores in New York City. The lists are an accurate reflection of what songs were played each week on WMCA. This was the "heyday" of Top 40 music and these surveys are fascinating.

Peter Kanze, Greg Lance, Randy Price, Charlie Holz, Tom Natoli, Don Tandler, Mike Riccio and Gary Pfeifer have done an extraordinary job collecting and restoring these surveys. This is an enormous task as there are literally hundreds of surveys. They have taken great care to restore them as closely as possible.
